About Us
Here at Mountain High, we strive to be a "Green"
business, by recycling and using solar power whenever
possible. We've installed
a 3.8KW photo-voltaic solar array on our property, that
provides over 50% of our energy usage in the summer and 33% in the
winter. We also use solar energy to heat our water in the
main house and Woods Room. A solar water heater is in the
plans for the Rose Cottage. We also use CF (Compact
Fluorescent) light bulbs everywhere, except the heat lamps in the
bathrooms.
Our recycling efforts extend to our guests,
where we provide recycling containers in the room for your use.
We ask that you place all cans, bottles, paper, cardboard,
and any plastic that is embossed with the

emblems, in the BLUE recycling
containers. We ask that you help us lessen our footprint on
